The NJ Turnpike (Interstate 95) runs northeast/southwest
through the county, and State Route 18 runs northwest/
southeast toward the Jersey Shore. Garden State Parkway
runs north/south through the northeast part of the county,
connecting it with Atlantic City and Cape May to the south
and with Newark, New York City and the NY State Thruway
to the north.
