American Repertory Ballet’s mission is to bring the joy, beauty,
artistry and discipline of classical and contemporary dance
to audiences and to dance students through artistic and
educational programs. The organization comprises three
programs: American Repertory Ballet professional company,
the state’s preeminent classical and contemporary ballet
company; Princeton Ballet School, one of the nation’s largest
and most respected nonprofit dance schools; and ARB’s Access
& Enrichment initiatives. Ethan Stiefel, former principal dancer
with American Ballet Theatre and New York City Ballet, takes the
helm as ARB’s new Artistic Director in July 2021.
ARB’s professional company performs throughout the region,
engaging audiences with a mix of contemporary work and
beloved story ballets. Princeton Ballet School offers dance
classes for children, adults and seniors, from ballet to
modern dance, hip hop and flamenco at all three of its studio
locations: New Brunswick, Princeton, and Cranbury, NJ.
