Whether you want to gain muscle,
lose fat, or just live healthy,
the limiting factor is
almost always nutrition.
Poor nutrition is what holds you back. And good nutrition is
what will move you forward.
Good nutrition is what will feed muscle and shed fat. It’s what
will drastically improve recovery and mood, so you can work
harder, longer.
Good nutrition is what will get you the body you never thought
you could have.
So here are some tips for you:
1. Listen to your own body when it comes to meal
frequency.
Recent review in the Journal of the International
Society of Sports Nutrition, and other lines of
evidence suggest:
As long as we eat the right foods in the right
amounts, meal frequency seems to be a matter of
personal preference.
You can eat lots of small meals each day (i.e. every
few hours). Or you can eat a few big meals each
day (i.e. with bigger time gaps between them). And
there’s almost no physiological difference. There
could be psychological differences, mind you. Which
is why I highly recommend listening to your own
body.
2. Eat complete, lean protein each time you eat.
Are you eating something that was an animal or
comes from an animal – every time you feed
yourself? If not, make the change.
