Roasting marshmallows on a stick over a roaring re in the
woods seems like a pretty normal experience for most
children. Then again, so do sleepovers and birthday parties. Truth
is, these experiences are just not possible for some children.
Due to physical, emotional, or developmental challenges, an
estimated 65,000 children in the state of Florida have been
diagnosed (by their schools or a doctor) with an exceptionality
that might preclude them from enjoying these types of events.
That’s why the work being done at Dream Oaks Camp, run by
Foundation For Dreams, Inc., is so important.
At Dream Oaks Camp, kids of all ages, all skill-levels, enjoy
a truly immersive camp experience. Sleeping away from
home (and their parents) in a cabin in the woods might be
