Mother’s Day Breakfast
INGREDIENTS
• Cinnamon swirl or plain bagel
• Plain or flavored cream cheese
• Strawberries - hulled and halved
• Blueberries
PREPARATION
1. Be very quiet so you don’t wake up Mom!
2. Spread cream cheese on each side of a halved bagel.
3. Decorate using the blueberries and strawberries.
4. Serve to Mom on a tray, along with any juice
or flowers available, while she’s still in bed!
Heart-Shaped Egg-in-the-Nest
INGREDIENTS
• Favorite type of bread
• Eggs
• A heart-shaped cookie cutte
PREPARATION
1. Use the cookie cutter to cut a heart out of the
center of the bread.
2. Place the bread in a greased skillet on low heat
and crack an egg into the middle.
3. Cook the bread and egg until the egg white is fully cooked.
4. Carefully remove the bread and egg from the pan, add ketchup embellishments, and enjoy!
