5. DO PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH YOUR
KIDS
This one allows you to kill two birds with one stone. You can
spend quality time with your kid(s) while getting exercise.
And with our nations childhood obesity epidemic, this is
a great way to keep your children physical active and at a
healthy weight, so they don’t become a victim. Instead of
letting them sit around playing video games or spending
too much time on their laptops, take them outside and play
some sports. My favorite way to keep my family and I active
is by having a fun game of “tag”. It keeps everyone moving
and can burn a lot of calories in as little as 15 minutes.
6. JOIN A GYM WITH CHILDCARE
This may not save you much time, but it can make it much
easier to exercise on a regular basis. Aside from the health
you can make friends with other busy moms like yourself
and build a support system. Check out your local gyms and

favorite tv show or limit your time spent on social media
and do a 15-minute HIIT workout. Most of my clients are
busy mother and they tell me of the strategies they use to
make time. Some of these include: exercising during lunch,
waking up 30 minutes earlier than normal to exercise or
healthy lifestyle now so that later you won’t have to make
time for multiple doctor’s appointments to treat high blood
pressure, high cholesterol or diabetes.
8. THINK POSITIVE
Many people underestimate the power of positive thinking.
The truth is, having a positive attitude can change your
clients and unsuccessful ones was their attitudes. The
unsuccessful one would show up not wanting to be there
and always saying “I can’t” while the successful ones
showed up with enthusiasm and would say things like “I
can” and “I got this”. Simply having a positive attitude
and telling yourself positive words will ensure that you

still being able to tend to your mommy duties. No matter
how busy you may be, living a healthy lifestyle is doable
with a little forethought and planning. Being the best
mom you can be should include doing whatever it takes
to ensure you are active and around as long as possible for
your children.
