shapes. The oldest shape
will be deleted when new
shapes are added.

The basis for all embroidery designs begins with artwork. To
create artwork, select from one of the built-in drawing tools or
from 90 built-in shapes. Line art and color illustrations can be
scanned to generate artwork. Fabric and other images can also
be scanned to create a background image which can be traced
using one of built in drawing tools. JPEG images can also be
imported into IQ Designer.
There are 90 built-in shapes in IQ
Designer, 30 basic, 30 closed and
30 open. Touch to open the
menu of shapes. The Instruction
and Reference Guide will refer to the
shapes as stamps.
Basic shapes will
automatically be selected.
Use these shapes to create
artwork. There are three
options available when
working with basic shapes.
» Create artwork from a
shape that will be outlined
with stitching only.
» Create artwork from a
shape that will be filled
with stitching. It will not
have an outline.
» Create artwork from
a shape that will be
filled with stitching and
outlined with stitching.
Select from 30 built-in
closed shapes.
Select from 30 built-in
open shapes.
Select an embroidery
area to create a region
or use as a reference.
