editing
Once artwork has been created,
it can be altered or edited by
erasing, sizing, rotating and
copying. Artwork must be
selected before it can be edited,
and there is a new way to select
the artwork too.

To edit artwork, they need
to be selected on the design
page. If scanning or selecting a
shape, they will automatically
be selected. If artwork is not
selected, choose the Select key
The selection can be made
by drawing a box around the
design or by selecting points
around the artwork on the
design page.
Saving & Retrieving Artwork
To save the artwork, touch
There are several options for saving
artwork:
Artwork can be saved to
the machine memory. This
memory designated specifically
for artwork created in IQ. It can
also be saved to a flash drive
using either USB ports and
SD memory card. Files will be
saved in a b pocket no matter
what device they are saved on.
To retrieve artwork, touch the pocket
with the blue arrow in the upper
right hand corner of the screen. Select
an option for retrieving artwork.
Touch to completely clear the
workspace.
Touch to undo/redo one
previous action at a time.
Editing Tools
Select to erase specific
lines or sections of the artwork.
Select from a variety of size and
shape eraser options. If erasing
a large area, select a heavier
eraser. To work in smaller areas
with thinner lines, select a
smaller eraser.
The editing features allow you to:
» Size-to increase or decrease the size of
the artwork. Use the arrows for precise
positioning of object
» Rotate-to rotate the selected objects.
» Mirror- to create a mirror image of the
selected artwork
» Duplicate -to copy artwork and place it
on the clipboard.
» Clipboard - to paste artwork that has
been copied or clipped.
» Scissors -to cut or clip artwork and place
it on the clipboard.
