I have enclosed a special picture of
my two daughters, Philomena 11 years
and Bibiana 2 weeks. I made a promise
to St. Philomena that, if she found me
a good husband, we would name our
first daughter, Philomena. After five
boys, we made a novena to the Saint
for a healthy baby sister for Philomena.
She wanted to share this picture with
our friends in the Living Rosary. < Adrianna - USA >
I thank God with the prayers of Saint
Philomena. I have so many stories of
miracles I can tell about this precious
Saint. The woman, Maseipone Khathu,
was working together with Sr. Clara.
I received the holy oil from her and it
helped me so much. I gave it to another
man who could neither walk nor talk
due to a stroke. But, lately, he is able
to talk and is walking properly. In the
same house, his mom had a terrible
wound on her leg. After treatment at
the hospital without improvement, she
was confined to bed at home. I gave her
the holy oil and she applied it to the
wound. The wound burst and blood
poured forth. Now, she is healed.
There are so many more stories I could
tell of the miracles that are being
reported. God bless you! < Kubutu Esther - LESOTHO >
Good news should be shared. Father
told us the success of his outreach to
a woman who used our parking lot.
She was a nurse, and her patient was 7
minutes away. He spoke with the nurse
and their visit was supportive of her
efforts to reach the patient and help
him meet a happy death. The man
was 75 years old and had been away
from the Church for 30 years. His three
daughters were never raised Catholic.
Now, through the tiny visit of Father
and the nurse, he was asking for a
priest to hear his confession and give
him the Last Rites. Father did this. The
patient passed away and had a Requiem
Mass. His daughter and two other sisters
are interested to visit with Father
about turning to the Faith. The father
received a Catholic burial, the daughter
wants to learn about the Faith, and all
because Father had the opportunity
to visit the nurse who had parked her
car in the Church parking lot. Our
apostleship must be instant and always
available. < Rose - USA >
I share with you the recent accident of
my son, Chris. He was driving on an icy,
winding mountain road when he came
across an accident of a semi-truck
and a small car. He put his breaks on
and slid into the opposite lane. He
was hit on the driver’s side by another
oncoming semi-truck. At this point,
he was watching the accident happen
from the backseat of the vehicle. He
felt no pain and said he was very
peaceful and that St. Philomena was
sitting next to him praying. Chris has
