She needs to see God in us! In a world in which God seems
ineffective and non-existent, She needs us to be signs of His
Love. To obey is to love; it is the purest, loftiest, adoring and
perfect act of love.
Now is the hour for chastity, total attachment to Christ! One
is chaste, not by refusing to love, but because one loves! If we
seek first the Kingdom of God, all other things will be given to
us. Our mission is to reach the very heart of the world from
which God is absent. Hidden in our homes and cloisters, we
are not called to preach, but to live and let God be seen in us.
In this way, we prepare the ground for the conversion of souls.
Let God fill our hearts. God liberates, He does not enslave as
does the world. Love of God is like a watch-fire on a mountain
top that is visible for many miles, a raging flame that spreads
with every moment of its existence.
Just imagine, if God would disappear! It happened in Russia,
China and Japan. Yet, God remains always within the hearts
and souls of men. Our hearts must be God’s place of survival
during times of persecution. The Spirit of God penetrates every
heart with Its vibrant flame. If God were to seek refuge in our
hearts, would He find in them a ready place of rest? Do not minutes,
hours and days pass without our awareness of God’s presence?
A church that one never enters, gradually ceases to be a
church. Away with the unknown forest and its thickets, let it
be cleared and ordered. We must not let the thousand and one
needs created by the life of today keep us from living always in
the presence of God.
Faith is as delicate and precious
a treasure as life itself. To live by
faith is to love God’s Will. It is to
accept everything in this present
life, to admit that God is right and
what He promises is TRUTH. Have
Courage!
