St. Michael, the Angel of
Portugal, appeared to the
children of Fatima and
gave them a powerful
prayer to be offered in
adoration and reparation
to the Eucharistic Heart
of Jesus present in all the
Tabernacles of the world.
This prayer encompasses
the whole Mystical Body
of Christ:
“O MOST HOLY TRINITY,
FATHER, SON AND HOLY
GHOST, I ADORE THEE
profoundly. I offer Thee
the Most Precious Body,
Blood, Soul and Divinity
of Jesus Christ present in all the
Tabernacles of the world, in reparation
for the outrages, sacrileges and
indifference by which He is offended.
By the infinite merits of the Sacred
Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate
Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the
conversion of poor sinners.
In accordance with the decree of Pope
Pius XI, when we pray our Rosary in
the presence of the Blessed Sacrament,
whether exposed or in the Tabernacle,
we may gain a plenary indulgence.
If we direct the prayers through, with,
in and by Mary to Jesus in all the
Tabernacles throughout the world, our
Rosary not only becomes acceptable
with the sublime dispositions and
merits of Our Lady, but also it is
multiplied, so to speak, by the actual
number of the thousands of Tabernacles
on earth, and even in every consecrated
Host.
This unity is the power
of association that was
so dear to the heart of
Ven. Pauline Jaricot. It
is the foundation of the
strength of our DECADES
in the Living Rosary; the
unity of the members
animated by the Breath of
the Holy Spirit in charity
which flows to and through
the members in the whole
world. In our oneness with
Christ everywhere, and
through Him, we reach a
stronger solidarity with the
members of His Mystical
Body.
When we assist at Benediction in this
way, we actually beg God to throw open
the doors of these divine arsenals and
let the power of His Graces flow over
the earth. The primary object of any
devotion is adoration, thanksgiving,
reparation and petition to God, not
personal satisfaction! Pride lies in
wait even for good works that it may
destroy them!
We do not have to be present before
the Blessed Sacrament to fulfill this
devotion. We can practice it anywhere
and everywhere, at any moment of the
day or night. Through the inspiration
of the Holy Spirit and a loving awareness
of Jesus, living and praying in the
thousands of Tabernacles throughout
the world, we offer our adoration to
Jesus. Everything we do, we give to
Mary, so purified and embellished by
her Immaculate Heart, that it may be
her offering and ours to the Sacred
Heart of Jesus in all the Tabernacles of
