I am very interested in learning
about the Catholic Religion. It is hard
for me to understand about my
religion because the chaplain here
does not really know about it. Thank
you for replying to my letter of May
13, and sending me prayer cards and
information to teach me the Catholic
Faith. Pray for me, Father, for I am at
a bad prison. I am trying to remain
focused on going home in two years. I
have been doing good, trying to stay
out of trouble, but the Staff down
here keeps pushing me into doing
evil! I want to change my life around.
Thank you for reading this letter.

Thank you for your prayers, your
encouraging words, the Rosary and
Brown Scapular. On Ash Wednesday, I
was finally invested with the Scapular
by Msgr. Reed. This was the best day of
my life. I pray that I die a happy death
clothed in it. I will be confirmed in
the summer. I want to stay completely
submitted to the Holy Spirit for the
rest of my life. Bless you and your
wonderful ministry through Our
Blessed Lady! < Jean - FL >
I received a package which included
valuable info on the Catholic beliefs. I
set the package aside for a time and it
was almost like it was calling me. It is
difficult to explain. I don’t even know
who sent the package as I did not
order it. I took out the materials and
began to read. I feel, I have been
drawn to Our Mother Mary. Please
teach me more. How can I be worthy?
How do I honor the holy Mother of
God? I do not have any idea. Where
do I start? I feel it in my heart; the
Catholic Church is where I belong. < Tracy - TX >
I have a question. At my new facility,
the only thing we have is a Deacon.
We never get to see a priest or bishop.
How do we go about contacting someone
to get help? We cannot go to
Confession. Thank you for what you
can do. < Jason - FL >
Please, will you help me get a Rosary?
I am a Catholic and I am trying to
change my life and asking God for
help. I was never told about God
when I was growing up and, now, I
have been in prison for 6 years and
have turned my life over to God. I
have never had my own Rosary so I
ask with an open heart, do you help
people in prison get Rosaries?
< Robert - GA >
I am serving a life sentence. I was born
and raised Catholic, and I am the only
black here that attends Mass. Lately,
I am getting other black prisoners to
come to Mass. This is a very violent
prison. Please send me a Rosary and
mail one to my daughter. I want her
to have one. Thank you so much.
< Rene - GA >
Please help me with a real Rosary
and a few medals. Beware, our prison
is somewhat anti-Catholic. We are
trying to get our diocese to be more
active. We have not seen a priest
throughout the entire Easter Season!
Please hold these concerns in your
prayers. < Coty – FL >
