Pinnacle Church at Pisgah High School. “You take the leap, and
God will give you a parachute. He’ll take care of you, and He did.
He still does,” Heath says.
Pinnacle is a welcoming place for anyone, no matter where
you are on your journey. “We want to create an environment
where disengaged people can engage with God. Our hope is
to be a church that ‘un-church’ people love…where they can
come, ask hard questions. We will love on them, and they’ll get
to hear the truth of the gospel. That’s been our heart from day
one, and that’s still our heart,” says Heath. The main goal is for
people to know Jesus. “We’ve got a big vision, but we’re never
satisfied,” Heath says. “Ya know, I might be content when the
54,000 people that live in Haywood County all know Jesus and
have a relationship with him. Then I’ll be content. But until then,
until God lets me graduate and go to heaven, we’re going to go
on reaching people.”
