With 30,000-plus historic artifacts,
veteran-led tours and thousands of oral
histories, the Military Heritage Museum
provides visitors an opportunity to fully
understand and experience military history in
an authentic, personal and unique way.
This museum has a large auditorium where
symposiums, lectures and movies about
military history are held, as well as a second
fl oor where visitors can have fi rsthand
experiences in the form of virtual reality
devices.
This museum explores facets of every war
the United States has participated in, and has
some of the most unique revolving displays to
be found in Southwest Florida.
General admission includes access to the
museum’s fi rst fl oor galleries and exhibits, the
second fl oor simulator room, the “War Room, “
virtual reality experience and exhibit areas.
The cost is $12 per person; $10 for veterans
and military active duty, $9 for youth ages
5-13, $5 for annual members and no fee for
children under 5. Expect that there might be
additional fees if you attend a show in the
auditorium.
