It’s The Most Wonderful
Time Of Year... to Travel!
by Keri Cameron
There’s no place like home during the
festive holiday season, but that doesn’t
mean you can’t pack your bags and go on an
adventure. Whether you’re looking for a beach
getaway or a winter wonderland, there are
cities all over the United States that have no
shortage of Christmas spirit. As we all know,
the Coronavirus has brought many challenges
this year, but we can social distance, wear our
masks and still have a magical time with those
we love. Some of the following destinations
may not offer all of the activities right now, but
there are still so many options to enjoy.

Christmas is the perfect time to plan a
visit to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.
Christmas is a magical time of year filled with
luminous lights, perfectly wrapped presents,
and time with friends and family. At any other
time of the year, the Biltmore Estate is like
walking into a palace fit for a queen.
In your self guided or audio tour, a highlight
you don’t want to miss, is the grand dining
room. The famous dining room features the
biggest tree and the table set up the same way
the Vanderbilts would have had it set.
However, a visit around Christmas is a
feast for your senses! Guests can sip some
Wassail, take a carriage ride or pick up some
truly special gifts. Biltmore at Christmas is a
magical experience you won’t want to miss.
