A Note From the Editor:
One of the most beautiful things to come about from an age when
information fl ows so freely through our computer and into our brain
is how close we can become to another human being … sometimes
without ever meeting them. The diary of old has been replaced by
something called a “blog,” and many people post their daily thoughts
and questions about the daily grind. While some seem contrived,
others are witty and introspective, and bring us closer together in the
knowledge that while people are all very different from one another,
some things – and thoughts – remain the same from brain to brain.
Welcome to the world of one Boca Grande blogger, who is a writer
of some renown. Many of you might recognize the stylistic prose you
will read, because the blogger is the one and only Susan Hanafee. She
is the author of several books and has a popular blog that can be found
at susanhanafee.com.
These are a few of the entries
that have slipped through the
cracks and have never been
published. The topics are widely
varied (as blog entries often
are), and we think you will fi nd a
bit of yourself in many of them.
Enjoy.
