DRINKING (PART 3)
���� Washing the hands is the Sunna of all the
Prophets
���� When food is brought, start from the side
because the blessings descend in the middle
(Tirmidhi)
���� Whoever cleans the plate, it makes du‘a of
maghfira for him (Ibn Maja).
���� It is Sunna to use three fingers to eat and
to lick the three fingers clean three times
(Muslim).
���� Taking food from the closest side of the plate
and starting with bismillah (Bukhari)
���� Drinking from a glass cup is Sunna (Kanz al-
‘Ummal).
