be an easy step for Catholics to take no
matter what their circumstances may
be. < Marvin - NICARAGUA >
I am fine in Fiji. Here, we are having
36,000 cases of the virus, with 1000
being infected every day. Curfew is
from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. The box you sent
to me arrived safely. They tell us that,
only after 80% of the population is
vaccinated, will they open the borders
and lift the curfew. Those who have
taken the jab get $200 each month. I am
unemployed and not vaccinated. At
present, it will be a miracle if I have
one meal each day. The booklet you sent
on Comfort In Tribulation has enabled
me to continue. Most of our parishes
are in need of Rosaries, Scapulars and
Miraculous Medals. Now, there is no
daily Mass and no Sunday Mass. I have
90 names to send you for enrollment.
Soon as I have funds, I can send them.
There is time now for reflection and
great trust in
the providence
of God. Pray
that I am able
to bear my cross
courage ously.

Thank you for your consoling and
moving letter. I am attending Mass in
Hebrew (Latin Rite) in a fairly small
community church. We have no books,
prayer card or anything in Hebrew.
Most people speak English. Some do
not have Scapulars. Many conversions
are won by Our
Lady’s Miraculous
Medal but we
did not have any
when your box
arrived! I did not
expect a generous
supply of everything
from you
and I have given
the excess to a local Byzantine Ukrainian
Church near my parish. I know how
much these external Sacramentals do
to strengthen those who are spiritually
weak and help the devout
to keep a strong and lively
Faith. My sister just made
her First Communion.
Blessings to you! < David

On the feast of the Blessed Virgin
Mary today, I used it to the advantage
of visiting the students at Prang Senior
High School. I told them about Saint
Philomena and they have all received
their Decades. Many had not heard of
this Saint. < Dimbo - AFRICA >
Thank you for the three parcels of
precious materials that will be used by
our Living Rosary members. You can
see I am all smiles. Thank God for His
protection and blessings during these
difficult times of the pandemic. The
diocesan churches have opened to
allow only those who have received the
vaccine. I was able to send Rosaries to
our members in Mozambique, where
the work is going well. During August,
we were able to enroll 570 members.
300 are members of Mozambique and
Zaka parishes. The St. Joseph chaplet is
loved by all! I am able to communicate
with groups in distant places. Please
supply us with the
Stations of The Cross
posters for the newly
opened churches. My
prayers are with you.
