Dear Director, I hope this e-mail finds
you well. Here, in Dar es Salaam, we
are fighting with the Corona pandemic.
All three parcels that you sent have
been received. Thank you for the outstanding
booklets on our Faith and
the Saints, and your condolence for
our late President, † John Magufuli.
May his soul rest in eternal peace! The
Living Rosary is vital in renewing the
lives of our people. We gain strength
through our Daily Decade! As I read
your newsletters and other writings, we
feel a great joy and renewed urgency
to promote this excellent devotion
universally. It is a blessing to the
Church in our times and to the entire
human family. We are grateful for the
St. Raphael books and the wonderful
St. Joseph books. I have translated this
book and we have
printed them locally in
Swahili. The materials
for Total Consecration
through the Immaculate
Heart of Mary, we will
spread and promote.
I did make my Total
Consecration on December 8, 2019. We
unite with you in the campaign for
Mary-like standards of modesty in dress
and special work with our youth. I am
praying and seeking light from Our
Lady and St. Philomena on ways to
reach the souls of our youth. We have
Living Rosary
members from
Mu h i m b i l i
University and
the University of
Dar es Salaam.
We need more
Swahili materials. I will help with the
translations. Please send 1,000 Scapulars
for a beginning. Pray for our sick and
dying. May Our Lady bring an end to
this pandemic! With gratitude and
promise of prayers, < Fortunata
TANZANIA >
Thank you for being the most generous
association of Mary, Mother of the
Church, and for your commitment to
send various Sacramentals for the sake
of evangelization. We are so happy for
your quick response. In fact, we are
all praying for you in every gathering.
We are also on a discussion to start
another movement of prayer called,
St. Philomena. Our plan of distributing
the Rosaries to our new catechumens
went well. We gave the Rosary to the
participants in the Catechism classes.
Our stewardship as Divine Rosary
Ministry involves spending time with
God. Recognizing that every day is a
gift from God, we strive to spend part
of each day with God through prayer,
Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Scripture
reading, silent meditation and other
spiritual activities. Just as we thank God
every day, we continue to show our
gratitude, recognition and appreciation
to those who are journeying
with us like the ULRA.
May God bless you more!
