May God bless and protect you!
< Jack Julian - IL >
I am writing to obtain a Rosary to
pray. I had a nice Rosary but when I
went into confinement for 5 months,
it never got packed with my property
or it was stolen. Will you send me a
Rosary and a calendar? I used to have
prayer books which got stolen as well.
Thanks, Mrs. Melvin, for all you do for
us behind bars. < Jason - FL >
I have been incarcerated for 15 long
years. This set-apart time has been
a God-send bringing me re-birth and
spiritual vitality that were previously
unknown in my life. I feel and hope
fervently that my penance and education
are coming to a close and I will be
released into the world to serve my
Lord and His loving Mother with a new
life filled with love. Thank you and the
ULRA for your support and prayers
during this metamorphosis in my life.
You all instill the good and inspiring
qualities that our beloved Mother Church
has always stood for. I look forward
to receiving the beautiful little prayer
book you mentioned in your previous
letter. God bless you! < TX >
I have been in long-term confinement
going on for 7 months now. My mother
has dementia. I lost my legal appeal
and hopes of overturning a life sentence.
One can say, it has been a rough year ...
despite this - God, our Blessed Mother
and St. Philomena never abandoned
me. Your continual support of my
spiritual needs never faltered and with
all these graces, I continue to hang-in
there. I did manage to get released from
confinement by the end of December.
My glasses got broken and, without them,
I am blind. Today, they gave me a pair
of under-strength glasses and I am
eeking out this letter to you. I longed
to write to you all, my brothers and
sisters in Christ! Despite my temporary
blindness, I am still able to say my
prayers. I am starting a Rosary group
in my dorm teaching others to pray
the Rosary. Please pray for this. Thank
you again and may the Holy Ghost
continue to inspire all of the faithful!

I am in Sumter County Prison. I have
been locked up for 42 months. I am
writing to ask for reading materials
and a Rosary. I heard about you
through another inmate. I go home in
December 2022. I got locked up due to
burglary and arson. I was 19 years old
at the time. I am 23 right now. I lost
my house, my fiancée, my daughter,
my dogs, just everything. I feel bad for
what I did. When I get out, I will have
nothing. Thank you for your time.
Please send me a Rosary and reading
materials. Sincerely, < Austin – GA > I reach out to your Association, at
this time, seeking an opinion and peace
of mind. At this moment, I am living
in an environment that deteriorates
the essential element of a man. I have
been locked up for over 20 years
and I just need some peace within all
this chaos I am subjected to. I have
become fearful and I need to obtain
something that will bring peace to my
soul. If you can relate, please help me.
Whatever you send will be gratefully
received. < Frederick - GA >
