CFT 2018 CONFERENCE PREVIEW
By Connor Scott
The Big Ten has leveled off in the past couple
of seasons compared Ohio State consistently
dominating back when Urban Meyer first came
in the conference. Now in a conference with
more parity, teams like Michigan State, Penn
State, Michigan and Wisconsin are competing
for a conference title each year. Having teams such
as Northwestern and Nebraska on the come up
will only boost the conference’s competition and
national reputation. The bottom of the conference
is still the weakest of any Power Five league.

Human Highlight Reels
TRACE MCSORLEY QB Penn State
The talented dual-threat quarterback has broken multiple
Penn State quarterback records, not something to take lightly
considering the tradition in State College. McSorley holds the
following Penn State records: fifty-nine career touchdown
passes, multiple 3,000 yard passing seasons, completion
percentage (61.2) and passing efficiency (152.9). A solid encore
performance this year would solidify his spot as one of the best
to ever play at Penn State.
JK DOBBINS RB Ohio State
Dobbins possesses what all great running backs do: vision,
breakaway speed, elusiveness and the ability to break the first
tackle. The Buckeye running back rushed for over 1,400 yards
last season, and you can bet Urban Meyer will find more ways
to get his playmaker the ball.
STANLEY MORGAN, JR. WR Nebraska
As a junior, the shifty wide receiver was second in receptions
(61) and touchdowns (10). With new head coach Scott Frost
coming in look for more targets and explosive plays for Morgan
Jr. Frost’s offense will totally change the look of Nebraska,
and Morgan could be the biggest beneficiary from that.
