Human Highlight Reels
DEEBO SAMUEL WR South Carolina
The talented receiver and kick returner only played in three
games last season before getting injured and still led the team
with six touchdown receptions. With great route running and
lateral quickness allowing him to get separation and get out in
the open field, he is among the best at making defenders miss.
BENNY SNELL JR. RB Kentucky
The do-it-all running back for Kentucky had over 1,300
rushing yards and nineteen touchdowns last year. Snell has no
weaknesses to his game and has a low center of gravity which
helps him make quick cuts upfield. His name does not catch
much national attention because the Wildcats are likely to
struggle as a team but look for his name when the postseason
awards come around.
JERRY JEUDY WR Alabama
The explosive wideout averaged 18.9 yards per catch last
season and was the Tide’s big play threat towards the end
of the year when he gained the trust of the coaching staff. A
breakout year is on the horizon as he could be the next great
receiver at Bama.
The SEC is still the most dominant
conference in college football and has been
for over a decade now. In the past twelve
seasons, a team from the SEC has taken
home the national championship trophy
nine times, thanks to Alabama’s five titles.
A myriad of coaching changes makes this
conference an intriguing one in 2018.
