The ACC has stayed pretty consistent over the past
couple of seasons. Clemson is atop the league with teams
like Miami and Virginia Tech nipping on their heels. Willie
Taggart is a wildcard as the new Seminoles head coach
with Jimbo Fisher departing for Texas A&M.

JAYLEN SMITH WR Louisville
Under the tutelage of one of the smartest offensive minds in
football in Bobby Petrino, Smith sees plenty of opportunities
to make plays in space. Smith, a rising junior hauled in 60
passes for 1,017 yards, seven touchdowns and averaged 16.3
yards per catch. As Smith solidified his spot as one of the
conference’s top playmakers, look for his touches and
production to increase in 2018.
CAM AKERS RB Florida State
The do it all running back that can run around, through, over
and underneath defenders was named to the All-ACC Third
Team while compiling 1,024 yards, seven touchdowns on 194
carries, averaging 5.3 yards per carry. He broke FSU’s freshman
rushing record previously held by Dalvin Cook — good
company to keep.
AJ DILLON RB Boston College
An under the radar recruit coming out of high school where
he was ranked 407th nationally and a three-star recruit. He
has made his name known throughout college football for his
impressive strength and skills in the weight room. Dillon ran
his way to 1,588 yards, 5.3 yards per carry and 14 touchdowns
while also garnering the ACC rookie of the year award. Clemson
