Shea Patterson QB Michigan
After Ole Miss got hit with numerous
allegations caused by former coach
Hugh Freeze, Patterson decided to stick
it out through the 2017 season. Once
he learned this past season that he was
misled by the Ole Miss athletic department,
he decided to transfer and picked
Michigan, feeling they would best suit
his desires to finish out his final two
seasons. The former Ole Miss quarterback
was ranked #1 at his position
out of high school in 2016, and he may
be the most talented quarterback that
Michigan has had with Jim Harbaugh.
C.J. Sanders WR SMU
Another Notre Damer leaving.
The former ND wide receiver and
return specialist was more known for
his return abilities as through three
years in South Bend. He returned
three kickoffs and one punt return for
a touchdown. Sanders’ best year came
during his sophomore season where
he caught twenty-four passes for 293
yards and two touchdowns. Sanders
looks to be more of a factor for the
SMU Mustangs during his last
season of eligibility.
Joe Burrow QB LSU
The former Ohio State Buckeye
decided to transfer after the
conclusion of spring practice
where he actually had a strong
spring game, going 15-22 for 238
yards and two touchdowns.
Burrow is known for his strong
arm and the ability to make
plays with his feet. He ran for
over 2,000 yards as a three-year
starter in high school. With very
lackluster quarterback play in
recent years, Ed Orgeron could use
better play from his quarterbacks.
