For the past 117 years, the Illinois State
Rifle Association (ISRA) has been
promoting and protecting the ideals that
made this country great.
In June of 1903, the ISRA was formed with the
purpose of training civilians in preparation for
being the core of the nation’s defense. When
WWII emerged, ISRA members answered the
call and served our great nation in all theaters
of the war including at Bataan and Corregidor.
Today, our challenges take shape in not only foreign forms, but they are
also domestically carved from liberal adversaries whose objective is to
disarm the civilians of Illinois and to prevent us from shooting, hunting,
collecting, or even owning a firearm.
The ISRA is hard at work advocating for Gun Owners every time the
Legislature is in session. We spend a great deal of time and money carrying
your opinions and defending your rights before our State Congress.
President Donald Trump has served the United States of America for the
past four years aligning with our same ideals and goals: an unchanged
mission for the continual protection of Gun Owners, upholding our
rights of the Second Amendment, and forging a constitutional future
for our children.
We are still in the forefront fighting for freedom. If you believe in personal
freedom and want your children to have a fighting chance to taste it, you
should join the Illinois State Rifle Association. We would like to have you as
a member.
