The Tale of The Grape
By Steve Fiske
One sees the passion in the eyes of Michael
Eastman and Bruce Turner, partners in VinRex
(a Tampa Bay area wine distribution company)
as they articulate their fondness for the EXITUS
wine brand. “Quality at a value based price”
says, Michael. Bruce adds, “the best wine is
what tastes good to the consumer at the time of
the experience”.
VinRex distributes the Exitus brand, produced
by California’s CECCHETTI Wine Company.
The brainchild of legendary winemaker, Bob
Broman, Exitus was the winning result of
Broman’s genius in producing a quality
red blend that is easy on the pocketbook.
Broman has over 27 years experience
in the winemaking industry
and is almost legendary in winemaking
circles.
“This is a serious and complex
wine suitable for aging and enjoying
over hearty meals with family and
friends”, says Broman.
Broman strives to show consumers
that good wine does not always have
to come with a hefty price tag.
Broman help launch the Cecchetti Wine Company
in Northern California. He was recruited to
manage their winemaking duties at the Cecchetti
Sebastiani Cellar. He is known for his attention
to detail and the ability to locate quality fruit
sources. His commitment to quality “creates a
backbone for blending stylistic wines that are approachable,
consistent and good value” according
to Cecchetti sources.
Exitus was introduced to the market in 2011
by the Cecchetti Wine Company with Broman’s
overseeing and it holds up to the favorable expectations.
Under the stewardship of Broman,
the partners of VinRex expect that every
vintage of Exitus to “offer a truly unique
wine experience, which we believe will
present an extraordinary high quality at
a reasonable fair price”.

“Bold, ripe and concentrated offering layers of red berry fruit with notes of
tobacco leaf. Full bodied yet graceful and elegant with hints of vanilla oak.”
