Wine and Tapas Extravaganza
The Rotary Club of Belleair’s 11th annual Wine and Tapas Extravaganza was an evening of fine wines and tastes provided by
some of the area’s best restaurants, including the Bay Star Restaurant Group, E&E Stakeout Grill, Nauti Nancy’s and Wildflower
Café. There was entertainment, a silent auction and casino tables. The benefit, which supports Belleair Rotary’s numerous local
and international community services, took place at the Belleair Country Club and celebrated the life and generosity of the late
Rotarian and philanthropist “Betty” McGraw Perkins.
Event chair Joyce Baskin, the club’s
president Jo Ann Bruner and event co-chair
Ana Maria Schweitzer thanked attendees and
participating restaurants for their support.

Poetic Justice Gala
This 23rd annual event began by using the seized assets of drug dealers to help pay for substance abuse and prevention in the
community. The Poetic Justice fundraiser benefits Operation PAR and features dinner at Bascomb’s Chop House and silent and
live auctions, along with music and dancing. This year’s committee was co-chaired by Karol Bullard and Debi Burns.
