Tampa General Hospital Gala
With a theme of “The Wizard of Oz, there’s no place like Tampa General Hospital,” this 20th annual fundraiser to benefit the
hospital’s foundation was an evening of fun and creativity. Many guests attended the gala in dapper Emerald City-inspired
outfits in keeping with the evening’s theme. The hospital is proud that its mechanical circulatory support program manages more
than 130 long-term patients. Tampa General has one of the eight patients in the world who has lived more than 10 years with
a ventricular assist device, a pump implanted into a damaged or weakened heart to push blood through the circulatory system.
Pam and Les Muma were Over the Rainbow
sponsors of this fundraiser for the hospital
foundation’s Fund for the Future.
Dr. Linda McClintock, medical director
of Age-Less Medicine and former CEO of
Health Ease-Tampa General’s Medical HMO,
attended the gala with her husband, former
Tampa Mayor Dick Greco.
