Moves Guest speaker Luciano Castiello related
For 10 years, guests have flocked to
Da Sesto Italiano Ristorante on 66th
Street North in Pinellas Park to enjoy
the authentic Italian food and wine they
serve. Recently, the restaurant moved
a few hundred feet to the north to a
freestanding building, where it can
accommodate more diners. The new
location at 7201 66th St. N. is now open
and serving sumptuous Italian cuisine
to devoted fans.
The Jewish Federation of Pinellas and
Pasco Counties’ 15th annual Women
of Distinction Awards Ceremony was
held at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater to
honor 23 women from 23 organizations. At
the event, the Dawkins Young Woman of
Distinction Award was presented to Dana
Shepard in recognition of her leadership.
This fundraising event was co-chaired by
Becca Gross Tieder and Katie Blaxberg.

dinner recently at Alfano’s Restaurant in
Clearwater. The six-course dinner was
served with San Angelo Pinot Grigio,
Fontanelle Chardonnay, BelnerO Super
Tuscan, Cum Laude Super Tuscan and
Summus Super Tuscan. Guests marveled
at the wines as they dined on the various
courses that included Seared Sea Scallops,
Veal Saltimbocca and Grilled Prime New
York Strip steak prepared by Chefs Linda
and Frank Alfano.

Clear Sky on Cleveland Opens
The long-awaited opening of a new restaurant in downtown
Clearwater has happened. Dan Shouvlin’s Clear Sky on
Cleveland with its global bistro menu should prove that there
is a need in the city for quality establishments and that if they are
built, “they will come.” The top-quality food, reasonable prices
and an attractive setting are sure to draw diners throughout
the Tampa Bay area. The restaurant is located across from the
Capitol Theatre with ample parking in the rear.
