2018 Scholarship Applications Available on January 1
Students of Active, Retired Employees Can Receive up to $14,000 over 4 Years
In 2017, eight college-bound
students received Martin Marietta
scholarships worth $3,500 annually
for up to four years. Your child
could be a 2018 scholarship winner.
Beginning on Jan. 1, 2018, the
scholarship application process will
be available online. Each applicant’s
parent will first need to complete
and submit an Eligibility Survey no
later than March 1. Once that survey
has been processed, each eligible
applicant must complete and submit
a Scholarship Application no later
than April 1.
Scholarship recipients – the sons
and daughters of hourly and
salaried employees as well as Martin
Marietta retirees – must be graduating
high school in spring 2018
with plans to attend an accredited
four-year college or university in the
fall semester. At least one of the
student’s parents or legal guardians
must have been employed with
Martin Marietta for at least two
years as of Jan. 1, 2018.
Scholarship winners are selected
by a committee of three educators
unaffiliated with Martin Marietta.
Winners are announced in late
spring or early summer and pro-
filed in a subsequent edition of
The Conveyor.
Visit scholarship.martinmarietta.com

will not be accepted before Jan. 1,
2018. Paper applications will no
longer be accepted.
