complete antebellum railroad repair facility still in existence in
the world! The Museum offers an array of daily programming
stock to nostalgic train rides, and occasionally turntable and
blacksmithing demonstrations.
TAKE A TROLLEY TOUR
Children will love taking the trolley around Savannah. Old
Savannah Tours offers historical reenactors that you meet
during your trip. They even offer an evening ghost tour. Old
Town Trolley offers an adventure in history. You will learn
about Savannah and enjoy the interactive experience.
There are a number of tours so you can pick the one that
works best for the ages of your children and interests. Check
out the American Prohibition Museum located in City Market.
ARTZEUM AT JEPSON CENTER FOR THE ARTS
This art exhibit offers a two level, hands-on gallery with 24
activities that encourages kids to explore art using works
from the Telfair collection, Savannah architecture building
blocks, interactive media experiences, a magnetic sculpture
wall and more. Museum admission is FREE for children 12 and
under!
OLD FORT JACKSON
Explore one of only eight remaining in a series of
forts built prior to the War of 1812. This fort offers
programs for the entire family and stunning views
of the Savannah riverfront.
