local tips & tidbits
In Savannah, one of my favorite places
is the Savannah History Museum at the
Visitor Center. Lots of cool displays
and artifacts, and of course, the Forrest
Gump bench!
The Tybee Marine Science Center and
The UGA Marine Education Center
and Aquarium are a great way to learn
about our local and plentiful marine life
including my favorite, the Sea Turtle.
I pack as little as possible when I go to
the beach. Pack light and dig a chair in
the sand.
I love that there are multiple beaches you
can explore. The north end is perfect for
walks at sunset. Then you have the south
end if you feel like doing some peoplewatching
at Fannie’s on the Beach.

My favorite places to eat on Tybee are
Huc-A-Poos – House Salad with Chicken
and Cafe 80 East - Avocado and Spinach
Sandwich on an Italian sub roll - yum!
I love to shop! Try the cute boutiques
along Broughton and Bull Streets -
especially Red Clover Boutique. My
motto, accessorize!
