crafts and vendor marktet will
be open from 10 a.m. until 5
p.m. and model boats will also
be on display during the show.

On June 15 and 16 the
Presque Isle Harbor will be a
buzz of activity with the 26th
Annual Wooden Boat Show,
which has added a car show to
the events.
Events kick off Friday at 11
a.m. with a participant lunch
at the Presque Isle Harbor
Association beach house on
Grand Lake. A boat cruise
from the beach house will
follow at noon. A reception
for participants will be held at
the Old Historic Presque Isle
Lodge at 6:30 p.m.
Participants will launch
their boats from 7 a.m. until
10 a.m. Saturday. Opening
ceremonies will begin at 9:45
a.m. featuring comments from
chairman Bob Van Dusen and
the blessing of the boats. Car
show registration will begin at
8 a.m. and run through 10 a.m.
Saturday.
Voting will take place
from the start of the show until
1747 Cedar St., Rogers City
Lighthouses will be open for
climbing from 10 a.m. until 5
p.m.
The award ceremony
for the show will be held at
4:30 p.m. Following the show
visitors are invited to enjoy the
harbor and the area.
The Presque Isle Harbor
is located on East Grand Lake
Highway off of County Road
638 about 25 miles south of
Rogers City on U.S.-23.
The mission statement of
Every year in March the
Rogers City Antique and Vintage
Snowmobile Show cre-
in Rogers City. The show is
March and offers plenty of activities
for all ages. The event
usually attracts around 150-
200 sleds that are on display
for the weekend.
The event kicks off with
a vintage ride at the hall on
Friday afternoon. All are welcome
to enjoy the trails and
Friday night the bar opens at 3
p.m. with entertainment in the
evening beginning at 8 p.m.
The show begins Saturday
morning and lasts
through the afternoon featur-
roast dinner is served in the
evening before awards are
handed out and entertainment
and a cash bar can be enjoyed.
Shuttle service is available to
and from the show on Friday
and Saturday.
Awards are given out
to the Best Original Antique
(1968 and older), Best Original
Vintage (1969-1980), Best Restored
Antique, Best Restored
Vintage and Best of Show. Registration
for the event is Saturday
morning beginning at 9
a.m. and is free of charge.
With the hill and trails all
around the hall there is plenty
of space to take the sleds for a
ride. The event is staged at the
Knights of Columbus Hall in
Rogers City on County Road
