WELCOME TO YOUR TRIP!
You are about to set out on a wonderful journey, and we know God has something big
planned for you. This week, you will experience new things, meet incredible people and have
opportunities to grow in your faith. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your trip!
GROW OR GO
Abraham Maslow once said, “In
any given moment, we have two
options: to step forward into growth
or step back into safety.” A mission
trip is lled with opportunities for
new experiences. It will challenge
you to serve in ways that may feel
uncomfortable at rst. But if you jump
right in, this experience will be lifechanging.
GET OFF THE WALL
It’s easy to spot people who are
uncomfortable in a group setting; they
are the ones “leaning against the wall.”
This week, intentionally push yourself
to create conversations. Our trained
staff will be there to help you navigate
cultural and social challenges. Don’t
let those things get in the way of
making a large impact.
DON’T CRY BEFORE YOU’RE HURT
This old Scottish proverb is meant
to remind us to always keep a good
perspective and a positive attitude.
There will be times when things might
put you out of your comfort zone. It’s
important to remain exible, energetic,
and engaged throughout the trip. If
you can do that, God will create some
special moments that will change your
life.
