a former two-room schoolhouse built
in 1924 that is now used as a history
museum and educational facility. For
those seeking to indulge in the artistic
side of things, the Hobe Sound Fine
Arts League highlights local artists
through monthly Artist of the Month
shows, outdoor art fairs, exhibits in
community locales, and participation in
community events. For youth interested
in the arts, Amazing Things provides
music lessons, art instruction, wellness
and prevention programs for kids. For
nature lovers, Hobe Sound is home to
Johnathan Dickinson State Park which
is home to over seventeen miles of a
variety of natural habitats: sand pine
river swamps to list a few. Hike, bike,
camp, or drive through this breath-taking
display of nature. Across the street from
the park is The Hobe Sound Nature
dedicated to environmental awareness
and education. Visitors can join a hike,
explore terrains with an expert, or sit in
on various lectures.
Hobe Sound is proud to also be home to

WORSHIP AND RELIGION
Local places of worship span multiple
denominations, including Catholic,
Methodist, Lutheran, Presbyterian,
Baptist, Greek Orthodox and more. Hobe
Sound is home to the Hobe Sound Bible
Church, that includes a k-12 academy and
a college. Nearby is also Christ Memorial
Chapel, Temple Beit HaYam in Stuart, and
the Muslim Community of Palm Beach in
