STEAM Junior: Planes
Prepare to take flight! Children will
each design, build and test their own
little planes. As children manipulate
wing placement, body length and
weight to create planes that actually
soar, they’ll learn about important
concepts, such as force, motion, angles,
trajectory and aerodynamics. Register
early; space is limited. Program is for
ages 4-6.

Learn how reptiles adapt to different
environments as DunnDee Farms
brings live reptiles to this performance.

STEAM Junior: Cars
Children will design, build and test
their own balloon-powered cars. As
children manipulate wheel alignment
and balloon placement to create cars
that really roll, they’ll learn about force,
motion, angles, trajectory, speed and
distance. We’ll do experiments racing
against each other, pull-back cars and
even robots. Register early; space is
limited. Program is for ages 4-6.

Doggone Reading Fun
Paws for Friendship Inc. brings
therapy-trained dogs for 20-minute
reading sessions. Reluctant readers, or
children who might not enjoy reading
aloud, are often eager to read in the
presence of an adoring and nonjudgmental
