happening online through social media.

social network for neighbors to connect. Nextdoor.com
allows Clearwater residents to create neighborhood pages
where they can share news and information with one another
about community events, road closures and even lost pets.
The app allows the city of Clearwater to post information
such as urgent alerts, upcoming programs, road closures in a
particular area and neighborhood-specific safety information.
Currently, there are more than 17,000 residents in the city
of Clearwater who are already signed up for Nextdoor.
Each Clearwater neighborhood has the ability to establish
its own free, private page that is accessible only to verified
residents of that specific neighborhood. The city of
Clearwater will not be able to obtain neighborhood pages,
contact information or content. In addition, information
on Nextdoor neighborhood pages cannot be found on any
search engine or third party.

entering their address on nextdoor.com. If a neighborhood
page has not already been established, residents can create
one and invite their fellow neighbors to join. Anyone who
lives in the city of Clearwater and joins Nextdoor will
automatically receive city of Clearwater updates and alerts.
