The Tennessee Performing Arts Center is
a shining jewel of culture in the crown of
downtown. Located at 505 Deaderick Street,
TPAC is a spot that people often go so they can
catch Broadway shows, which themselves can
be a worth a titter. But it’s a pretty solid comedy
been recorded at the historic arts space.
For standup, the September lineup included
performances from Paula Poudstone, Kevin
James, and Anjelah Johnson, with this quarter
including the stylings of Craig Ferguson, Marc
Maron, and Demetri Martin. The occasional
comedy play, like December’s production
of “Miranda Sings - Who Wants My Kid?” is
announced for TPAC’s schedule, so be sure to see
who’s on the calendar.
