Factor Bingo
Number Operations: Students should understand the meanings of
operations and how they relate to each other, make reasonable estimates,
and compute uently. They should also communicate mathematical
thinking clearly and coherently.
Student Task: Joy and Patsy’s teacher introduced her lesson using a factor
game. Students should use the factors of three two-digit numbers to cover
game boards. Determine the winner of the game and explain how the game
was won.

The Rules: When the teacher calls out a number, each player will cover all
the factors of the number. For example, when the number 8 is called out,
each player can cover 8, 2 and 4. The winner is the person who covers all the
numbers on her mat.
