Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and
character, who make the world a better place. Local
troops meet at several Horizon West schools. Girls in
kindergarten through high school are eligible. Adults
interested in volunteering their time and talents are
also welcome.
BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA - EAGLE EMPIRE
Boy Scouts of America Central Florida Council
program instills timeless values of character, citizenship
and leadership in each young man and woman
(ages 5-18) who enters the Scouting program. Local
troops meet at several Horizon West schools. Adults
interested in volunteering their time and talents are
also welcome.
TEACH BESIDE ME
A preschool co-op where small groups of parents and
their preschoolers work side-by-side on interacting,
socializing and academics. Parents rotate responsibility
for creating lessons for their group.
