A bronze sculpture of Dent riding a bucking horse was unveiled at the
200 Ellensburg Rodeo. The Bareback Riding sculpture was the nal event
represented to complete the collecon commemorang the rodeo. Dent’s
favorite event is Saddle Bronc Riding, but he’s most consistent in Bareback
Riding. He went to about 100 rodeos his rookie year in 2006. hile in high
school, Dent parcipated in football, wrestling, track and eld and rodeo.
Mullen High was state champion in eight-man football during Dent’s unior
year, when he led the state with 2,488 yards rushing Dent was also a state
wrestling champion as a senior and he was contacted by college football
recruiters from Kansas and Colorado State University.
