Hamburger Mary’s It’s More Than
Meets The Eye

U.S. Hwy 19 N. in Clearwater has a
new addition to its growing reputation
as ‘restaurant row’ now that
fun spot Hamburger Mary’s Bar
and Grill has joined its ranks.
As part of a growing international
network Hamburger
Mary’s offers a host of entertainment
and interactive fun throughout
the month. Much of their activity benefits local
charities. It offers a family friendly environment and
involvement with the LGBT community. Everyone feels
welcomed there. Every Wednesday night, Hamburger
Mary’s in Clearwater holds a special event, charity Drag
Queen Bingo. The bingo event is hosted by the “Queen
of Drag Bingo,” Melanie Minyon. Enjoy the night with
the fun-filled antics and jokes
with her. Each week, the bingo
event is held for non-profit
charity organizations. It cost $10
dollars to play per packet, and
starts at 7:30pm. At the end of
each game, a prize bag is given
with a value range of $20 to
$200. At the end of the night, the
money raised goes directly back
to the non-profit charity organization. Reservations are
recommended.
Friday and Saturday nights are the times to be at
Hamburger Mary’s in Clearwater. Each night, they offer
3 fun-filled and unique shows that feature female impersonation.
The show director, Alicia Markstone, will
keep you laughing and entertained, while she performs
for you as well as three other fabulous drag queens.
Show times for each night are 7:30pm, 9:30pm, and
11:00pm. The first two shows are “pg” rated, as for the
third show; it’s more of the “risky” show. It is highly
recommended that reservations are made.
Guests have a selection of dining at the fully stocked
and elegant bar, comfortable tables in traditional dinning
settings or the lovely outdoor patio, which is quickly becoming
one of the most popular areas in which one may
enjoy all of the good food and beverages.
This eclectic place has caught on quickly with locals
and visitors alike. “get anything on

Mary’s offers
a
large va- riety
of
tradition- al
appetizers ranging from sliders to flat bread,
each with their own special recipe twist, such as MMMMAC
N-CHEESE Balls, which are deep fried and
DELICIOUS!, soups and salads are also prepared with
creative style. The real stars of Mary’s menu are the
burgers. Plump, juicy and made to order. Mary’s offers a
variety of meats to accommodate every diet and palate.
Patrons may choose from Ground
Angus Chuck, Ground Turkey,
Blackbean for Vegans, Chicken
Breast Bufflao and Salmon. Prices
range from $8.95 to $14.99 and
come with a selection of sides that
are as equally impressive as they
are eclectic. If you are seeking a
more hearty traditional meal you
won’t be disappointed as they also
offer full dinner selections like sirloin steak, meatloaf,
salmon, fish and chips as well as Tuscan-Style Chicken.
Prices start at $10.95 There are four signature desserts
on the menu, one of which is “a dessert of the day”.
For only $3.95. If you have a sense of adventure don’t
miss the Mary Tyler S’Mores, they will even supply the
“campfire” over which you can melt the chocolate!

As of this writing Monday night is Amateur Talent Contest
Night and the winner receives a $100 prize. There
are Drag and Diva Shows throughout the week and a
Sunday Brunch Buffet with shows at 11 AM, 12 Noon
and 1:30 PM.
