The Foundation hosted appreciation events for Hamilton Ambassadors in 2018 to thank them for their support.
Ambassadors are shown at two of the special events: an Easter “Hop-Up Shop” featuring candy treats, and the “Boogie
ONE-derland Silent Disco” where employees enjoyed music, Mexican food, and smooth moves on the dance ��oor.

The Whit��eld Healthcare ��oundation’s Humanitarian Award recognizes the achievements of outstanding individuals who
give sel��essly of their time, talents, and resources to enhance the quality of our healthcare system and strengthen the ��ber
of our community. Bestowed in alternating years since its inception in 1986, the award, recognizes the very best among us.
In 2018, Shelby and Willena Peeples were named recipients of the prestigious award. Shelby and Willena ��rst joined the
Whit��eld Healthcare ��oundation in 1982 as Westcott ��ellows. They have grown their tradition of giving to re��ect their
small town values and big dreams-dreams which usually take
place in larger communities, but are happening here, thanks to
their commitment to philanthropy. The majestic Baccarat crystal
eagle presented to Shelby and Willena symbolizes the soaring
ideals of Humanitarian Award recipients, and recognizes their
years of service and transformational gift to the ��oundation’s
ONE Campaign.
We offer Shelby and Willena our everlasting respect and gratitude
for their legacy in giving and honor them as distinguished recipients
of the 2018 Humanitarian Award.
