As the medical director of Anna Shaw Children’s Institute, Dr. Carnevale specialies in
attention disorders, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral and developmental challenges,
and more.
Dr. Carnevale graduated from Assumption College in orcester, Massachusetts, attended
medical school at Brown niversity in Rhode Island, and completed her residency in pediatrics
at the niversity of Connecticut. She also completed her fellowship at Brown niversity and is
board certied in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities.
hile practicing pediatric medicine and serving as an assistant professor, she found her
passion in treating children with complex disorders. Since 17, she has cared for children
with developmental delays, as well as provided guidance to their families. Dr. Carnevale and
her husband, Christian, have four children.
Emily Brandt, MD

Dr. Brandt specialies in attention disorders, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral

Dr. Brandt graduated from Southern Adventist niversity in the Chattanooga area
and then attended medical school and completed her internship and residency at
Loma Linda niversity. She obtained her fellowship in DevelopmentalBehavioral
Pediatrics at the niversity of Iowa.
Dr. Brandt has cared for children with developmental delays and has assisted with
educating medical students, pediatrics residents, and child psychiatry residents
during her fellowship at the niversity of Iowa and as a member of the faculty at the
niversity of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga.
