Idon’t know about you, but my idea of
vacations nowadays is to really enjoy
myself doing the things I love, with the
people I love and, of course, without a rush!
Back in the days if you asked me, I would
have said ‘Oh, I’ve visited almost every
single European country, east and west,
and it would have been true. With the only
difference that driving from Paris to Belgium,
to have dinner in Brussels, spend the night
and keep driving to the next country on the
list, would barely give you an impression of
what Brussels or Belgium is about. That was
our way of vacationing and we would end up
feeling tired, confused, and disappointed for
all the places we missed and the things we
didn’t get a chance to experience.
No more! If you agree that vacation
means relaxation, decompressing, a time to
recharge, and learning about other cultures,
then I have the perfect spot for you: The Palm
Beach, Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris
Casino!
What a piece of earthly paradise! As I
mentioned, I have traveled a lot but I must say
that my recent trip to Aruba left me with a
very memorable experience, particularly
because of the services I received at the Aruba
Marriott Resort & Stellaris.
They call Aruba the One Happy Island,
and people make sure they show you that they
are happy. I didn’t come across a single
person at a restaurant, coffee shop, or store in
the hotel or outside, that wouldn’t welcome
me with a smile on their face. Servers at the
hotel went even further by greeting me by my
name every time I visited the bar (a couple of
times…maybe more) or a restaurant. And,
since employees were very easy to talk to,
some of them even told me about their work
experience and the opportunities they have
available to keep escalating the ladder for
success.
The bartender, for example, has a very
interested story. He started as part of the
maintenance team and now he is an expert in
mixology at the Aruba Marriott Resort &
Stellaris Casino, and many of the delicious
drinks we enjoyed were his very own

creations (now you know why the bar was
one of my favorite spots).
One of the “must drink” cocktails is the
Aruba Ariba, a delicious combination of rum
vodka and several natural fruit juices and
syrups, which makes this a super delicious
drink. The hotel has over 10 areas to eat and
drink, and even though you may think
seafood is the most obvious food, you can
enjoy pretty much any food you desire along
with the beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea
blue waters.
I can’t forget to mention the spa, their
beach pools, and the many other amenities the
place offers for its preferred Tradewinds Club
members, it is also something to experience.
