LATINA Style’s 25th Anniversary
LATINA Style’s silver anniversary represents 25 years of doing
what we do best — Empowering Latinas One Woman at a Time.
That’s the heart and soul of who we are — it’s what we set out
to do 25 years ago and what drives every decision we still make
today 25 years later and every decision we will make going
forward. Check out a few snapshots of the launch of LATINA
Style Magazine in this feature.

Celebrating LATINA Leadership on the Hill
Twenty-five years ago, LATINA Style launched its premier issue
with the three first Latinas ever to hold a position in Congress:
Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard, (D), California, Nydia
Velazquez, (D), New York, and former Congresswoman Ileana
Ros-Lehtinen, (R), Florida. The influence and growing power of
Latinas in Congress didn’t halt with three. Today, 13 Latina
Congresswomen are leaving their mark on the Hill making critical
decisions impacting not only Latinas but Americans.
