A Note From
the President
It is my pleasure to welcome
you to Better Living
for Seniors of Polk
County. This year marks
our 25th anniversary
of living out the Better Living for Seniors
of Polk County mission to “improve the
lives of Polk County, Florida Seniors.” As
the senior population continues to grow,
and needs rise, together we will continue
to foster relationships and collaborations
community-wide to further this mission.
Our coalition provides resources, networking,
and education opportunities in
support of all who bring this mission to
life in their work and advocacy.
Our coalition is comprised of public,
private, volunteer organizations, and
individuals who provide services to
seniors in Polk County. We meet the third
Wednesday of every month to network,
but also to bring awareness of available
resources in Polk County. This directory
and coalition will offer you and your loved
ones helpful resources as you navigate
caregiving and later years. I invite you
to browse through the directory, visit us
online, follow our social media, and, hey,
maybe even join us for a meeting, because
together we can improve the lives of our
local seniors.
