CRAFTSMANSHIP ON DISPLAY
You can spend an afternoon perusing the goods
(and goodies) in shops like Mercantile, Moose
Creek Wood Chairs, and MKT Grafton, or admire
the nationally renowned artists on display at
Gallery North Star and at the studio of sculptor
Jud Hartmann.
HISTORY COMES TO LIFE
The village’s buildings and streets have been
lovingly restored to their 1800s elegance, due
to concerted efforts from residents and the
Windham Foundation as showcased by the
Grafton Inn, dating back to 1801. The entire
village is on the National Registry of Historic
Places. History lessons abound at the Grafton
Historical Society and the Daisy Turner
Interpretive Center, part of the Vermont
African American History Trail.
