PRESIDENT CALVIN COOLIDGE
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
President Calvin Coolidge Historic Site
Selected as a “Top 10 Summer Event” by the
Vermont Chamber of Commerce. Plymouth’s
July 4th commemorates the nation’s birth,
as well as the only US president born on
Independence Day. The day begins at 10:00
a.m. with a Naturalization Ceremony – the
induction of new US citizens. At 12:00 noon,
the Vermont National Guard leads a march to
the cemetery, where a wreath from the White
House is placed at the president’s gravesite.
Afternoon activities include children’s games,
a barbecue, birthday cake, historic craft
demonstrations, and wagon rides. Organized
by the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation
and Vermont Division for Historic Preservation.
The celebration runs from 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

4TH OF JULY PARADE & FIREWORKS
Village of Londonderry
The Londonderry 4th of July parade boasts
having every surrounding town’s fire engine
sirens singing as folks line up for two miles
of American pride and fun. This year will
welcome more than a dozen antique cars
and motorcycles, clowns on trikes,
a marching band, local 4H clubs with their
animals, bagpipers, and much more.
