2019 Orlando Relocation
Guide arrives in the house
Grab free copies from the ORRA lobby while they last
Copies of the 2019 Orlando Relocation
& Newcomer Guide, now in its
fift h iteration, are available for free
to members and can be found in the
ORRA lobby.
Each ORRA member is welcome to
25 copies of the publication (honor
system, please). Quantities of the
publication will be available on a firstcome,
first-serve basis while supplies
last. Members may also take as many
copies of last year’s edition — including entire boxes — as they wish
while supplies last.
The all-color consumer information publication includes sections
on Orlando and its three area counties, the area’s health and education
resources, and fun things to do. Naturally, there are expanded
sections on finding a home in Orlando and the benefits of using a
REALTOR®.
The publication is supported by a website (orlandorelocationmagazine.
com) with additional resources, and you can also provide your
relocating clients with a link to the digital version.
Inquire about advertising on the website or in next year’s issue, or
about purchasing large quantities of the current edition, by e-mailing
publisher@orlandorelocationmagazine.com.
Newest committees address
important REALTOR® issues
ORRA has established two brand new committees and
related volunteer opportunities for 2019. Each of the new
committees will be accepting participation request forms
throughout the year (as are all ORRA committees - with a
few exceptions such as Grievance and Professional Standards),
a change from previous ORRA policy.
Aff ordable Housing Task Force - Reviews and informs
the members of aff ordable housing incentives that may be
available.
Market Diversity Committee - Develops and recommends
policies promoting equal opportunity in housing
and diversity within the real estate industry, identifies the
concerns and needs of minority members, and develops
actions to address those needs.
To sign up for volunteer service on any available 2019
committee, please visit orlandorealtors.org/GetInvolved.
NAR introduces “Commitment to Excellence” program
Free REALTOR® professionalism education course is customized to your expertise level in 10 crucial areas
The National Association of REALTORS® has introduced a new
educational program designed to enhance the professionalism of
REALTORS® across the board. It is available for free to all members.
NAR's Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) is designed to empower
REALTORS® to demonstrate their professionalism and commitment
to conducting business at the highest standards. C2EX builds upon
the Code of Ethics through an interactive self-assessment tool that
shows each REALTOR® their level of expertise in 10 elements of
professionalism (plus an extra element just for brokers): Real Estate
Law; Code of Ethics; Article 10; Advocacy; Trust & Integrity; Technology;
Privacy Safeguards; Practice Areas; Client Service; Professional
Reputation; and Broker Issues.
Based on individual results, the
program then generates customized
learning paths, recommends experiences,
and provides tools and resources to
increase knowledge and enhance skill
sets.
The platform can be utilized on
iPhone/iPad and Android devices, as well as laptop and desktop
systems. Learn more at nar.realtor/commitment-to-excellence or
jump right in by logging on to C2EX.realtor.
OWN YOUR
PRESENT.
EMPOWER
YOUR FUTURE.
